It also covers a wide range of topics relating to physical and mental health, wellbeing, safeguarding and healthy relationships. PSHE Matters Sticky Knowledge OrganisersĪt Coppice Primary School and Nursery we strongly believe that parents should work in partnership with us. These are split in to our rolling cycle program which you can see below. Throughout these twelve topics the three key themes are interweaved. PSHE Matters is split in to twelve key topics. PSHE Matters has three key themes running through its teaching. We hope that by delivering our curriculum in this way will allow children to gain an in depth understanding of each aspect covered and prepare them for life outside of Coppice. Each year they will revisit prior learning and build upon this. For example, 'Being Responsible' is taught in year 1, year 3 and year 5. This means that your child will revisit key themes several times throughout their learning journey with us. This scheme has been updated and is in line with the new DFE requirements for teaching PSHE and RSE which came into effect in April 2021.
